Holiday Magic at Southern Sighs

The Christmas holiday season is one of excitement, anticipation, and magic. We at Southern Sighs catch that holiday fever and decorate the Inn early with both traditional seasonal items and a wild abundance of fresh greenery. When you visit us, you immediately sense that we find joy in celebrating.

The surrounding area’s towns offer ample shopping, holiday markets, parades, live Nativity scenes, concerts, and a great opportunity to escape and find a dash of serenity at our doorstep.

Come join us for small town warmth, great dining in the area and a simple downsized approach to holiday madness. We also offer our “outdoor” kitchen to our guests as a gathering place for small meals, gift exchanges, warm beverages and genteel conversation.

Southern Sighs Inn sits on approximately six acres of land in the farm area of northern Middlesex County, VA. From a radius of 360 degrees you can see farms and farm workers preparing for and gathering the abundance from the land to feed our nation.

There is a bounty of goodwill in our area so we feel this fruitful setting, uncluttered landscape and clear skies set the tone perfectly for small family reunions, corporate retreats, Board of Directors Meetings, graduation party luncheons and, of course, weddings. The elevated deck offers a delightful perch for dinners and meetings while the lawn offers game areas and benches for relaxing.
